Riding, tennis, nordic walking, bicycle...

You do not have to choose between active and comfortable holidays - Club Dobogómajor gives you the opportunity for both! Have a look at our sport-facilities:

Gym

To use our fitness room safely and hygienically, you need to follow few small rules.

• Please be informed that you can only use the fitness machines at your own responsibilty.
• Children under the age of 14 are not allowed in the fitness room.
• Entry is possible only if wearing sport shoes!

Please ask the lifeguard for keys.

Tennis

Club Dobogómajor has a tennis-hall with 3 tennis courts, and 4 outdoor hard-courts. Amateur or professional, pair or team, fun-play or championship, with our technical background and organization nothing is impossible. On request we may provide you with skilled trainers, who will teach you everything you need for the game, from the very basic tricks up to the naughtiest ace-hits.

Bicycle

Bicycle-lovers will have a great time in our resort. The entire Lake Balaton is surrounded with cycle-roads, and the neighbouring countryside offers great spots to visit on bike. If you do not want to overburden the roof rack, rent a bicycle in our hotel!

Riding

Club Dobogómajor awaits you with its own riding school. We offer you highly trained and disciplined horses and skilled instructors for both beginners and professionals, to improve your riding skills. If you want to try out horseback riding for the first time, it is the best place to start.

Our indoor and outdoor riding place provides you with excellent conditions for horseback riding. We offer you individual and group riding education, as well as pony riding for the children.

Important: children under 6 years are allowed to ride only on our ponies. The weight limit for horse riding is 80 kg (176 lbs). We provide lunge-driven training up to age of 15. For the safety of both the rider and the horse, we uphold the right for our trainers to examine the riding skills of our guests, prior to the riding service.

Opening hours (every day):

• High season (May 1 - September 30): 06:00-11:30; 14:30-17:30
• Low season (October 1 - April 30): 07:00-11:30; 13:00-17:00

Pre-registration is required, which can be done by phone at the 848 extension or in person at the riding school.

Nordic walking

There are several walking paths along the Club Dobogómajor’ area, which are perfect for nordic walking. If you prefer longer tours, have a walk from our resort to the end of the Keszthely-Festetics nordic walking route - a more than 10 km long walk!
